I awake this morning feeling quite well in spirit, although my body
is stiff and sore. We had a massive battle last night, and I took
several blows before I managed to win free at the end. While the
alliance consider it a victory, and perhaps rightly so since we were
routed, I also consider it a victory. Many hundreds of their people died
in horror as our forces marched from city to city. Many of their
leaders felt our blows and the sting of our spells. Greatest of all is
the heart of the Horde, which pulses with life and power, drawing all of
us into a union that will see the destruction of the alliance once and
for all. Orc, troll, forsaken, tauren and Sin'dorei. All stand side by
side when confronted with this enemy above all enemies.
In
addition to the mighty works we performed and the glory of our
sacrifices last evening, I have also moved my own personal research
forward by leaps and bounds. What started as dabbling with small herbs
and heated mixtures has turned into a full fledged study in its own
right. I can now make a variety of deadly poisons, powerful healing
mixtures, and best of all, powerful potions that mix magic and herb
together to create spectacular effects on my own magic.
The
thrill of mixing and drinking these elixirs has captivated me I must
admit. While some of the substances can be deadly or addictive, proper
use of these mixtures will result in a great boost to my own power. I
have used all forms of magic in these mixtures, especially the more
deadly arcane and scourge magics. Some might balk at this line of
research, but I believe it is for the best to make the maximum use of
all of the tools at hand. My cousins might disagree, but they have left,
and I have set up several laboratories for alchemy research within my
spire now.
Yes, my power can only grow from this, and I
have plans for the future. Big plans. Some of the mixtures I am now just
discovering have the potential for power that is beyond the scope of
anything I've done before. I simply must obtain the correct elements to
achieve these ends. My patience is vast though, and I will have
everything I wish to obtain.
And then everyone who thought to mock or thwart me will learn what it is to face my wrath.
