Diary Entry, Evening of the 24th, Post Combat

This evening was rife with battle and destruction. I have not seen a night like this in many years. Our lands were assaulted constantly. The lands of my allies were assaulted constantly. We moved from one running skirmish to another, various groups breaking apart and reforming as the night progressed, desperate to keep the uncouth barbarian humans and their allies from our towns.

It is almost a blur to me now, and yet I feel refreshed and calm. Even Jazari would have to agree that my actions this evening were beyond justified. I killed dozens of enemies in each location that were bent on destroying innocent lives. I hurled back the aggressors again and again. In Silvermoon we fought. In Orgrimmar. In Durotar. At Razor Hill. At the Valley of Trials. We repulsed a major raid there. I even fought in Wintergrasp in an attempt to retake the fortress there.

And then there was Tarren Mill. Something happened this evening that I have never seen before. Three distinct groups of enemies approached the town. The first group was an enemy raiding force, intent on slaying the population there. They had to be dealt with in quick order to prevent needless casualties. The second group was a band of miscreants, including Black Rose Syndicate members. It seemed this group was intent on slaying me, and I begin to suspect that someone has placed a price on my head. The third group was a GuildWatch force.

Why were they deployed there? They were far beyond their jurisdiction! They ambushed my defense group on the road just outside Tarren Mill, slaying many and forcing us back into the town. We had merely been hunting down foes around the outskirts of town to prevent the deaths of more forsaken there. And yet, GuildWatch aided the murderers and forced us back, forced us to flee and barricade ourselves within the town. We became besieged on all sides, and I believed our end would come quickly.

All I can say is, thank the Light for Ebon Thundermoon. She came at my request and brought allies. She broke the stalemate around the town, freeing us to clear the surrounding territory and strike quickly in the heart of the enemy's domain to punish them. I owe her much, and I will continue to aid the Tauren people as a result. Still though, the question of GuildWatch's actions puzzle me. Why would they do such a thing as lay an ambush in Horde territory? The answer is simple, they have become corrupt, as I always feared they were. It is clear now that they seek to harm our people just as much as the aggressors do. They support the aggressors and encourage them, offering them shelter against our vengeance.

Well no more. I will put an end to these foes once and for all. Sin'dorei blood will not run freely in our lands without equal measure being taken. It is all I can do.

I am weary from battle now. I would write more on this but the early morning will soon be upon me. Perhaps after I read this over my heart will change. Perhaps. We shall see. Hasty emotions lead to hasty actions after all.
